Movies in the Park is a FREE, outdoor movie event taking place at North Springs Park (1320 Clemson Road) and being organized by Awaken Church, with the help of several community organizations and businesses. Opening night is TONIGHT, JULY 24!
Enjoy a free movie (titles and dates below) on a 15′x25′ screen, free drinks courtesy of Pepsi, free popcorn courtesy of Cromer’s Popcorn and Peanuts, and free Sno Cones courtesy of Jumps-N-More! Don’t miss the Chick-fil-a cows and the HUGE bounce house and slide, too! And, register for all kinds of great giveaways to area restaurants and attractions! It’s all FREE!
What to Bring
Movies in the Park is partnering with Harvest Hope Food Bank in providing food for needy families throughout the Midlands. We are asking you bring some or all of the following items to be donated at the Harvest Hope Food Bank truck that will be parked at Movies in the Park:
- Canned meat
- Canned vegetables
- Canned fruit
- Canned soup
- Canned ready-to-eat meals
- Peanut butter in plastic jars
- Rice
- Dry beans
Harvest Hope staff and their mascot, Cool Can Sam, will be on hand to receive donations. Cool Can Sam will also have some goodies for kids!
Also, bring lawn chairs or a blanket and bring your entire family and all your friends!
Times and Parking
Gates at North Springs Park will open at 7:30pm and the movie will begin at sunset (approximately 8:30pm).
Parking will be available at North Springs Park and overflow parking will be available at North Springs Elementary School (next to North Springs Park).
